Episode 20 - Denny Tedesco, Director of "The Wrecking Crew"
On today's episode, Jamie, Angelo, and Michael are joined by director and producer Denny Tedesco to talk about his recently released film "The Wrecking Crew" which takes a in-depth look at the lives and careers of the studio musicians who made up the legendary group of session artists in Los Angeles during the late 50s' through the early 1970's know as The Wrecking Crew. Denny and the gang discuss the legacy of these musicians and their incredible impact during the infancy of rock and roll music. Smith. G.E. is most known for his time as the leader of the Saturday Night Live Band during the show's most popular time period in the 80s and 90s. He has spent time as a member of Hall and Oates, Bob Dylan's touring band, and most recently, one of the guitarists and bassist on Roger Water's The Wall tour. G.E. joins the group to discuss his life long love affair with rock music and the guitar, including his upbringing in Pennsylvania, his love of vintage guitars, and his work with some of the greatest musicians in the world including Dylan, Bowie and Jagger. Episode 17 - Al Kooper

Al's career has spanned over 50 years and he has been a part of the making of hundreds of recordings, not only as a guitarist and organ player, but as a songwriter, singer, producer, and musical director. Al share's stories with the KCRO crew about his time with Bob Dylan, recording albums like "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blonde on Blonde" as well as the now infamous Newport Folk Festival performance where Dylan first plugged in! Al discusses his relationship with Mike Bloomfield and his time in groups like The Blues Project and the formation of Blood Sweat and Tears. Al also dives into his time producing the first three Lynyrd Skynrd albums, and shares a great little secret with the guys about "Sweet Home Alabama"!
