Al's career has spanned over 50 years and he has been a part of the making of hundreds of recordings, not only as a guitarist and organ player, but as a songwriter, singer, producer, and musical director. Al share's stories with the KCRO crew about his time with Bob Dylan, recording albums like "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blonde on Blonde" as well as the now infamous Newport Folk Festival performance where Dylan first plugged in! Al discusses his relationship with Mike Bloomfield and his time in groups like The Blues Project and the formation of Blood Sweat and Tears. Al also dives into his time producing the first three Lynyrd Skynrd albums, and shares a great little secret with the guys about "Sweet Home Alabama"! Bob has also written a book entitled "Steady Rollin" where he covers his career, the history of blues and even some blues fiction writing as well. He talks to the guys about his years on the road, his career with Muddy Waters, some great stories that he has lived through as a blues musician.
